Need help navigating the publication process? We are here to help! JPS Medical Library is committed to supporting researchers with their scholarly work at all stages of the research process.

Reach out to your librarian for assistance with questions on journal selection, author rights, manuscript preparation, copyright and fair use, open scholarship, scholarly identity management, and more.


 Journal Selection and Evaluation for Publication

Consultation services are designed to assist team members with obtaining information regarding rights as authors and researchers. Questions beyond the scope of the consultation services should be directed to a legal office. Information provided by the library is not legal advice and is not intended to replace the advice of qualified legal counsel.


 Copyright Law

The JPS Medical Library is committed to respecting the rights of copyright holders and complying with copyright law.


 Preparation Services

The JPS Medical Library does not offer editorial and manuscript preparation services for publications, posters, abstracts, or CVs.


 Librarian Acknowledgement

Librarian authorship or acknowledgement is required for literature search collaboration on scholarly activity. Please consult our Literature Search Guidelines for literature search assistance and collaboration.
