EndNote is a subscription based citation management tool that provides users access to many helpful features including the following.

  • Find full text research articles with one click.
  • Add collaborators to a library.
  • Read, review, annotate and search PDFs in your library.
  • Insert in-text citations using Cite While You Write feature in Microsoft® Word.
  • Users can purchase their own subscription, JPS does not have a site license at this time

Mendeley

Mendeley is a free citation management tool from Elsevier providing access to the following features.

  • Easy import from desktop or web.
  • Annotate and share documents with collaborators.
  • Read, review, annotate and search PDFs in your library.
  • Microsoft® Word plug-in function for easy citation and reference lists.
  • Mendeley Download Options

Zotero

Zotero is a free citation management tool providing users access to many helpful features including the following.

  • Find full text research articles with one click.
  • Ability to add unlimited collaborators to your library.
  • Organize references and tag within your Zotero library.
  • Cites directly in Microsoft® Word and GoogleDocs.
  • Zotero Download Options
