Within the body are millions of cells with extraordinarily diverse forms and functions. The contributions of each cell make the existence of the human being possible. They give and receive whatever is needed for their individual function as well as for the growth and welfare of the whole. Like the human body, we have collective and individual identities. Through diversity and cooperation humanity can also thrive.
By appreciating and understanding the unique identities of every individual it is hoped that healthcare as a whole can improve. The purpose of this guide is to provide resources related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) in the context of healthcare.
